Target : Japanese University students
Number of respondents : (17)

(Summary) University students answered 9 different types of questions about part-time job. 

(Results)

Graph#1 shows that most respondents have part-time job now. In fact, 94.1% responded "yes", 5.9% responded " used to do", and there were no "no" response. These result that university students have part-time jobs are as expected.

Graph#2 shows that restaurants are a popular part-time job.  Part-time job in clothes store and cafe are also common. these kind of part-time job are general and as expected. However, part-time job in NITORI and Playhouse are rare. There are various kind of part-time jobs.

Graph#3 shows that from 1,000 yen to 1,100 yen is the common hourly wage. This includes the minimum wage in Hyogo. Also, there are also some people with higher hourly wages. Perhaps the higher hourly wage for some people is due to the Kwansei Gakuin University near the Kobe-Sanda Premium Outlets.

Graph#4 shows that most people have part-time job twice-fourth a week. Somewhat surprising result was that some people have part-time job forth a week. This means that having part-time at least one every two days.

Graph#5 shows that most enjoyable time respondents do part-time job is with their friends any time. However, surprising results is that the second most common answer is with customer.

Graph#6 shows that the last time for most participants to do part-time job is within one week. However according to this graph, two people had not work part-time job for more than a week.

Graph#7 shows that the best time for a part-time job work is 17:00. However, these answers vary from person to person. Perhaps this is because different part-time jobs have different hardest time to work.

Graph#8 shows that cafes and amusement parks are the most popular part-time job participants want to get. There are also many various responses including event staff, bookstores, and bakeries.

List#9 shows that restaurants are the part-time job most recommended by respondents. The most common reasons given is that it allowed them to acquire skills such as communication. Perhaps university students are looking for part-time jobs that help them gain skills.

(COUNCLUSION)

This survey has many new discovery about part-time jobs. For example, hourly wage and kinds of part-time jobs. This survey reveal that what kind of part-time jobs match university students.
